Whoever reads it knows a password is forbidden, then stands in front of a contract carrying a client’s name, or a complaint message, or a payroll sheet, and finds no answer. Does it tell me to stop using AI tools?
No, and it says so explicitly. I use them daily and the benefit is real. A blanket ban forfeits that benefit and does not even work — it just moves the use somewhere you cannot see. The course governs the use instead: a rule for what leaves, an approved tools list, and a policy your team signs.
Does it cover specific tools?
Deliberately not — it does not name a single one. Tools change every few months and a list of names expires before you read it. Instead you get twelve questions that vet any tool, past or future, and a lesson on the AI features quietly embedded in tools you already pay for.
Is this legal advice?
No. Where confidentiality or notification obligations come up — and they do, in several lessons — the course tells you to consult your lawyer, your syndicate, or the competent body, because what applies to you depends on your sector and your contracts. What it gives you is the method and the documents to bring to that conversation.
How does it relate to the cyber security courses?
They protect what comes in — accounts, devices, fraud. This one governs what goes out, through a channel none of them covers: your own team pasting your data into a third party, willingly and for a good reason. It assumes no prior course and repeats none of them.
